How is Ben Lomond made ?
One of the great joys of gin is that there are so many different ways you can bring flavour to life. Different stills, different botanicals, different finishes and flavours each designed to accent that gins particular «flavour».
However, when we make Ben Lomond we’re not trying to accent one particular flavour, rather we’re distilling a wonderful balance of juniper, citrus, spice, earthy and floral tones.
The best way to do that. Go all in. The perfect amount of each botanical is added all together, at the start of distilling process. The door is closed, and the stills work their magic. It’s not about nuance for us it’s about balance.

Our robust and versatile London Dry
Distilled as a classic London Dry at a punchy 43% ABV, our signature Scottish gin is a unique blend of 11 botanicals, creating the perfect balance of fruit, floral, citrus, spice, earth and juniper notes.
With tales and influences from the four corners of Scotland infused into every bottle, Ben Lomond Scottish Gin embodies the spirit of the mountain after which it’s named.

Ben Lomond Gin is presented in a vibrant purple bottle in tribute to the flowering heather found on the slopes of Ben Lomond and across the surrounding countryside. This is complemented with a bold wooden closure which represents the natural feel of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.
Our story
"The Beacon Mountain"
Historically a burning fire atop would have guided people from the four corners of Scotland and beyond. Those curious enough to make it to the summit will have been rewarded; unlocking horizons for further adventure.
This sense of adventure is what we channel in our gin. Our beacon will guide you so far, but beyond that is the freedom to drink wherever and however you choose; be that somewhere familiar with a classic or off grid with something new, there are no wrong routes. Look around, be inspired. All paths are there to be trodden.

Rowan Berries, which are foraged locally, help provide the unique, crisp taste of Ben Lomond Gin
CORIANDER SEEDS
SPICE & CITRUS
Coriander seeds contain a lot of oil and when it’s distilled it has a very complex flavour that is both spicy and citrusy.
JUNIPER BERRIES
PINEY, FRESH, CITRUS& SPICE
Juniper Berries are the underpinning ingredient and the predominant flavour of bright pine freshness with citrus and pepper spice.
ORANGE PEEL
The orange peel adds the true citrus element of the gin.
ROSE PETALS
FLORAL AROMAS & COMPLEXITY
The rose petals have a strong floral aroma which adds another layer of complexity to the overall gin.
SZECHUAN PEPPER
SPICE & HEAT
The Szechuan Peppercorns add a slight spiciness at the end of the gin which prolongs the after taste of the gin
BLACKCURRANTS
JUICY BERRY SWEETNESS
Blackcurrants add a subtle sweetness to the overall flavour.
ORRIS ROOT
FLORAL & HARMONISING
The root of the Iris plant, Orris gives an overall floral note to the gin and acts as a binding elements to bring all the other botanicals together.
CASSIA
SPICE & LENGTH
The Cassia add a slight spiciness at the end of the gin which prolongs the aftertaste of the gin.
LIQUORICE
SWEET & WOODY
Liquorice Root provides a distinctive sweet note with mild woody tones to the complex mix. This also enhances the mouthfeel of the gin.
ANGELICA ROOT
EARTHY BITTERNESS
Angelica gives a bitter, earthy flavour that again compliments the bitterness of the juniper but also helps to reign in the sweetness of the berries.
